With the NZ election just around the corner the above mentioned video seeks to highlight the issues and long term problems surrounding First Past the Post (FPP) Now we might have another option: Alterative Vote

But then there is always the status quo of MMP:

It's a brave new world. 'My name is Kyle Straker. And I don't exist anymore.'

If I told you what 0.4 referred to it would spoil the story.
If I told you who Mike Lancaster it may spoil the story, too.

Suffice to say that 0.4 is aimed at the teen reader market but is well worth reading even beyond, is science fiction… or science fact depending on your point of view.

It is the story of Kyle Straker a messed up kid from as messed up home… some weird stuff happens which either makes the family less or more messed up depending on your point of view. Whichever your opinion regarding the family there is no denying the fact that Kyle Straker ends up even MORE messed up.

But then, in the end, it all works out for the best… or it doesn’t. Depending on your point of view.

Now that I’ve thoroughly confused you I need to say it is well worth reading, whether you are a teen or a not-so teen it is definitely worth reading. It’ll blow your mind, in a good way or a bad way, depending on your point of view.

UNICEF: Africa Food Crisis

Duke of Cambridge: “UNICEF is leading the way and doing a fantastic job, but sadly there’s lots more still to do, and that’s why we’re here today.”

As you know, William and Catherine, with the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Denmark, this week visited UNICEF's main supply warehouse to see for themselves how UNICEF's life-saving aid is packed and sent to the Horn of Africa.

After helping to pack emergency health kits and check the stacks of therapeutic food, Catherine said with emotion: “We really hope to put the spotlight back on this crisis”.

“Anyone who can do anything to help, please do” added William, in a heartfelt appeal.
